PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

 The Self Development Programme (SDP)/ Work Readiness Programme (WRP) aligns with the Managing Self level of the Leadership Pipeline model. It is designed to equip participants with the necessary skills and competencies to function effectively in predominantly task oriented roles. The programme introduces participants to Total Quality Management (TQM), to drive a deep understanding of how their job roles contribute to organizational performance.

 

Pre and post module evaluation tests are conducted during this programme to track learning impacts and ensure participants’ competency gaps are identified and filled.

PERSONAL EFFECTIVENESS SKILLS WORKSHOP

 The Personal Effectiveness Skills workshop is designed to provide participants with skills and techniques that will enable them enhance their personal impact, influence and effectiveness in their job role and in dealing with others.

Total Quality Management (TQM) 

This programme examines the concepts and principles of Total Quality Management (TQM) and how these relate to the organization. It focuses on the pillars of quality management including customer focus, teamwork and continuous improvement of business processes. Participants will be provided with a clear view of how their job roles contribute to organizational performance.

  • Apply the principles of TQM, with a clear understanding of the philosophy behind it
  • Understand the context and content of organizational transformation related to quality improvement
  • Understand customer perceptions of quality and apply this knowledge in enhancing product/service competitiveness and client satisfaction levels
  • Understand the various costs associated with quality and apply this knowledge in managing organizational costs
