In this skills programme we will explore different tools and techniques to solve problems. These skills are practically applied throughout the programme and participants will have the opportunity to solve business related problems using their embedded knowledge and experience but also the knowledge and experience of the group.

Upon completing this course, you should be able to:
Define the concept of problem solving within your environment
Explain the importance of obtaining problem solving skills within the organisation where you work
Identify possible problems within your work environment
Establish an information-gathering team to obtain information pertaining to decision-making and problem solving
Describe professional business ethics that will impact on problem solving
Explain and apply creative thinking to business advising practices
Use troubleshooting as a technique to identify the problems at hand
Develop and implement the problem-solving cycle to identify and address the root causes of a problem
Use a variety or problem-solving tools to report on and solve problems
Identify possible barriers to problem-solving
This course is accredited by the Services Sector Education and Training Authority (Services SETA). On completion, the following certification will be awarded:
A Services SETA Statement of Results will be awarded to all delegates who successfully the unit standards’ portfolio requirements. The Statement of Results will only reflect the unit standards successfully completed; or
A Regenesys Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to all delegates who attended all training sessions, but who do not complete any portfolio requirements successfully.
